My Family Photography, LLC

My name is Alese Monahan.  I am a mother, a sounding board, an artist, a toy doctor, a chauffeur to my kids, a painter, a coach, a problem solver, a shoulder to cry on, a nurse for little boo boos, and a photographer.

 

I started this journey back when I was in high school.  I met a woman, a photographer, that allowed me to work in her studio.  Because I was so interested in what she did, I started out working there for free just so I could be a part of it.  I assisted her with lighting and background set up and new photo ideas.  I learned a lot from watching her.

 

Since then I have not let my love of photography dwindle.  I take and print over 1,000 photos of my family every year, but it wasn't until I volunteered at my children's preschool to take the class photos that I realized I was meant for this.
